Great Neck Opticians opened its doors in November of 1983. Great Neck Opticians has been a Great Neck retail landmark for over 30 years specializing in prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, sports goggles, and children’s optical needs.
Mr. Derkatch or Steve as he was known by most of his patients has been recognized as a Star Merchant of Great Neck for his positive impact on the community. He exemplified excellent customer service and product value for all of your family eye care needs. Under its new management by Drs. Yelena and Eleonora along with Gary, a licensed optician, and staff, Great Neck Opticians are dedicated to continuing offering all of its customers the quality care our patients deserve and expect. Our staff pays attention to the individual needs and desires of each patient. Great Neck Opticians has a dedicated play area for children along with a large variety of children’s frames. We continue to be a recognized Performance Vision Center that offers a vast variety of sports, safety glasses and lenses.
Great Neck Opticians will continue to set the standards and meet the needs of its patients by having in-house optometrists that will provide comprehensive eye care to adult and pediatric patients with the skills to fit and dispense contact lenses. We will work closely with your ophthalmologist and internists to co-manage your ocular and physical health. Dr. Yelena and Dr. Eleonora have been practicing for nearly a decade servicing the people of the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and now Long Island, Nassau Community.
